How it all began
A few years ago, I hit a point where I was making decent money — but still constantly stressed about it.
I had debt I didn’t want to look at, savings I kept putting off, and a vague feeling I should be doing something smarter with my finances… I just didn’t know where to start.
So I did what I always do when I feel stuck: I started writing it out.

This blog began as a way to track my own progress — figuring out how to budget in a way that felt realistic, learning to advocate for myself at work, and finally understanding things like credit, investing, and long-term planning.
It turns out, I wasn’t the only one who needed a down-to-earth, judgment-free space to learn about money. And that’s what this space is for — honest advice, practical tools, and a reminder that you don’t have to have it all figured out to start making real progress.
