Welcome to The Theme Nook. By purchasing, downloading, or using products from this website, you agree to the following terms.

1. Licensing

All themes and design packs sold by The Theme Nook are licensed under the GNU General Public License (GPL), version 2 or later.

Unless otherwise stated, GPL licensing applies to downloadable products distributed by The Theme Nook. Website branding, logos, marketing materials, and other non-distributed content remain protected by copyright.

Copyright for original works remains with The Theme Nook unless otherwise stated.

2. Product Access & Downloads

After purchase, you will receive access to download the purchased product.

We recommend keeping backup copies of downloaded files for your own records. Products may change, be updated, or be removed over time, and long-term download availability cannot be guaranteed.

3. Support

Support is provided for active products and generally covers:

  • Installation guidance
  • Theme setup assistance
  • Bug reports relating to supported products
  • Questions about built-in features

Support does not include:

  • Custom development
  • Custom design work
  • Third-party plugin support
  • Extensive modifications beyond the intended scope of the product

Response times may vary. Support is provided while products remain active and supported.

4. Updates

Products may receive updates to improve compatibility, fix bugs, or add improvements.

We aim to maintain compatibility with current versions of WordPress and, where applicable, WooCommerce. However, compatibility with all plugins, hosting environments, browser environments, and custom modifications cannot be guaranteed.

5. Refunds

We offer refunds within 30 days of purchase if a product is not suitable for your needs or if unresolved technical issues prevent normal use.

Please contact support first so we can attempt to help resolve any issues.

Refunds may not be provided where:

  • Compatibility issues arise from unsupported third-party plugins, custom code, or heavily modified environments.
  • The request falls outside the refund period.
  • The issue has already been resolved through support.

We build products carefully and want customers to feel confident purchasing. If something isn’t right, please get in touch.

This refund policy is provided in addition to any rights available under applicable consumer protection laws.

6. Compatibility Disclaimer

Themes are developed for modern versions of WordPress and supported plugins.

Due to the wide variety of plugins, hosting providers, browser environments, and custom modifications, compatibility in every situation cannot be guaranteed.

Users are responsible for testing products within their own environments.

7. Warranty Disclaimer

Products are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

The Theme Nook does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, complete compatibility with all third-party software, or suitability for every use case.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, The Theme Nook will not be liable for:

  • Loss of data.
  • Loss of revenue or profits.
  • Website downtime.
  • Issues arising from product misuse, modifications, or third-party software.

Users are responsible for maintaining backups before installing updates or making changes.

9. Demo Content & Images

Some demo content, placeholder imagery, or example assets may be generated using AI tools or sourced under compatible licenses.

Unless otherwise stated, assets included within downloadable products are intended to be GPL-compatible. Demo-only content shown on websites or previews may not be included with purchased products.

10. Changes to These Terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of products after updates constitutes acceptance of revised terms.
